Q: How long will it take?

A: Our first step is to create the right design for your space. Free in-home consultations are available throughout the week, including evenings and weekends. It may take as little as an hour to analyze your needs and produce your custom design on ClosetMaid's state-of-the-art, virtual rendering computer software. If there are many storage spaces to reorganize, your consultation may take longer. Depending on the size of your project, your dealer may be able to schedule installation within a few days. Other custom projects may require a longer lead time. Your dealer can tell you how soon installation can be scheduled. If your project is more complex, it may take several weeks to assemble the materials necessary to install your solution. In either case, we can easily fit our installation time into your schedule.

Q: Can you work with any budget?

A: ClosetMaid's Authorized Dealers have been the leaders in the industry offering affordable storage options for years. Your budget input and design ideas are essential to the process. We can meet your budget requirements, offering an extensive variety of options and styles for your selection. You can add an array of accessories to embellish your design. We'll be happy to work within your budget to find the right solution for you. Generally, a deposit is required for custom projects. Ask your dealer for the deposit and payment terms when you place your order.

Q: How flexible is the solution if my needs change?

A: We understand that you may get a new TV, more shoes, or the simply want to rearrange your area. That's why our solutions are designed so that you can easily rearrange the elements to reconfigure your space based on changing needs.

Q: How can I prepare for installation?

A: We'll schedule a time to install your customized solution that's convenient for you and poses minimal disruption to your home. When scheduling your installation, allow yourself time to remove the items in the area. Your ClosetMaid Authorize Dealer will explain the process of removing your possessions from the area and will go over any needs for repainting or any other services in which they can assist. Once your area is cleared and prepared, your dealer will take care of everything else without you having to lift a finger. ClosetMaid's "white glove" installation service means your home will be left in spotless condition when we leave. After thoroughly cleaning up the work area, your dealer will conduct a quality check walk-through with you to answer any questions you may have and ensure you're 100% satisfied with the installation.
